Georgia Swims
G had it in her mind that things would change when she turned 4.5, which she did on Friday. So she spent the next 2 days learning how to swim. And now she's a fish...jumps in on 1 side, swims across to the steps and gets out. She also likes to get tossed into the air for cheerleading poses...

A Week in Provence
We were so lucky to be able to travel to Provence last month...what an incredible place. It was a great trip. J & G learned some French. I officiated a wedding. And we ate more pastry than we thought humanly possible.
Big shout outs to Nazli, Jamie and Cara for joining us...
To our amazing hosts, Guy and Gabey at Moulin de la Roque. We will DEF return...
And to Jennifer and Thomas for picking such a great place to get hitched and allowing me to design a crazy wedding ceremony around a piece of local produce.

Easter 2011
In just a few days, we made it from Passover in New Jersey to Easter in Connecticut (or Ponnecticut as the girls call it)...The full jew to wasp spectrum. I think we fit we in both cultures. A big thanks to Benedict & Tall Jayne for a great Easter weekend.

Grandy: We will miss you always...
Jane & Georgia's Great Grandma, Pearl Charney, aka Grandy, aka Billie, aka GG, aka Billie The Yid, died today at the age of 93. She had a long and amazing life. (She was born in 1918!) She was loud and funny...always crackin' jokes. Above all, she was most proud of her family...especially her grand children and great-grand children. Check out some pics of her w/ J + G below.
But my favorite is this one...don't ask me why, but one day, the kids were trying on all these bandanas, and so we put one on her. And then we noticed that between that and her hair, she had this Keith Richards look going...so we added more and more, until we finally achieved the finished look. I think it speaks for itself. Btw, she was laughing the whole time, having a ball...
(No, that's not a real cig)
