Yo Gabba Gabba Season 2 Premieres Monday!

For those of you, like myself, who've seen all 20 episodes of season 1 49 times (no joke), you understand how amazing it is that there will actually be MORE episodes. Tune in with us Monday, 9/21 at 11:30 am on NICK jr. Really hoping it doesn't jump the shark...then again, i don't know if that's possible with this show.

Who Says Summer's Over???

Since Labor Day, we went to a playground in Pelham with the Hanlons, had a picnic in a Cobble Hill park and ate ice cream in a Dumbo sandbox. Thanks to Abby Hanlon for feeding us all dinner. And to Adam at Bubby's for the free ice cream.

TRADER JOES BROOKLYN TO OPEN SEPT 26!

Jane and Georgia are very "SIGHTED!", as Jane and Hammy would say, about the opening of Trader Joe's...RIGHT down the street from us. Word was that it was delayed until Spring 09, but the culinary gods threw some lightning bolts down and it's less than 10 days away.

This also means that we will never have to shop at Key Foods again...the worst grocery store in the history of the universe.

So now let's look back at some Trader Joe's memories...

Our Trip to the West Coast

Jane & Georgia just returned from a 10-day West Coast tour. With a huge entourage in tow (thank u LuLu, PoTart, Raba, Papo, Hammy, Marma, Saschy, Micky), they tasted many famed foods...from a Napa Valley Taylor's Refresher Mint-Chip Shake to the "Holy Sh*t" Peaches of the Pike Place Market in Seattle. They mingled with Sting Rays, Frogs, Crabs, Dogs, Birds and Salmon. And they made many friends along the way...from Baci, the Shapiros dog to T, the well-mannered bar keep at the Farley Bar at Cavallo Point. Jane says he makes the best glass of ice West of the Mississippi (the East Coast prize goes to Marshall at Tailor). Lastly, they pulled into Calistoga, California for Chrissy and Alex's wedding, where they wowed sunbathers with their snacking skills and bare buttocks.
